MedSpec Gripper™ 16" Hinged Knee Brace, Neoprene- The Gripper Hinged knee brace provides medial and lateral stability and resists distal migration due to an internal SkinLoc™ pad that works in concert with the outer closure strap to grip the proximal end of the calf muscle. Hinge pockets are reinforced in the center and at either end with high tenacity nylon material to enhance durability. Wraparound anterior closure allows for ease of application and an optimum fit. The Gripper 16” knee support contains a 16” long medial and lateral hinge and is available in two different base materials: 3/16” Neoprene or CoolFlex™. The neoprene version provides warmth and superior compression. The CoolFlex version is breathable and hypoallergenic.

  • Compliance & Migration: Internal SkinLoc™ pad works in concert with the outer closure strap to grip the proximal end of the calf muscle and inhibit the brace from migrating distally, thereby enhancing patient compliance.
  • Durability: Straps are made of high tension elastic that allows for numerous applications without fraying or losing closure strength. Metal hinge pockets are reinforced on the inside with ballistic nylon material at wear points to prevent hinge from wearing through the pocket.
  • Ease of Application & Comfort: The wraparound anterior closure allows for ease of application and an optimum fit. Open popliteal minimizes material bunching during flexion to improve comfort.
