Father with essential tremor loves them! |

These were bought for my father, who has moderately severe essential tremor. At the time of purchase, I was not sure how well the utensils would work, or how well he would like them (as he is quite stubborn!). However, my mom reports they are a hit! He grabs them out of the drawer at every mealtime without any prompting, and has even taken them on several dinner outings. I have not asked him what he thinks of his new flatware, because he is somewhat self-conscious and I don't want to bring attention to it. However, my mother and brothers think it has definitely helped with control of both liquids (ie, soup), and difficult-to-control solid foods (salad, peas, rice, etc). My mom is actually considering getting a second set, just so she won't have to wash this set with every meal! Would highly recommend for you or your loved one.
