ProBand® Ankle BandIT - The Ankle BandIT® utilizes Anatomically Focused Dynamic Compression® to turn the natural action of the ankle into a natural pump. It stimulates the body’s natural healing process by increasing blood flow and oxygen, by reducing inflammation and muscle spasms, and by producing a subtle warmth at the site of pain. Instructions for Use
Place the product on the forearm about two finger widths below the crease of the elbow. Tighten the strap, pulling it from the underside of your arm towards you. The strap should be tightened no more than it is necessary to keep the device in place during the activity that aggravates your condition (i.e., make it tighter for tennis, looser for typing). When worn as directed, the strap between the two plates should be equal in length on each side of your arm. The plate with the logo sits on top of the arm; the other, under the arm. To achieve this, pull the bottom plate (the plate without the logo) along the strap. The strap is not glued to the bottom plate. For a more customized fit, the plastic plates are bendable and gently may be squeezed or “cupped” for a smaller arm or flattened for a larger arm.
Cleaning & Care
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY. Hand wash with water and mild soap. Compress pad and rinse thoroughly. With a towel, pat dry any excess water.
Caution
For persistent pain, immediately contact your health care professional. If excessive moisture due to physical exertion builds under the Ankle BandIT, wear the Ankle BandIT over a clean, dry athletic sock to help absorb excess moisture. DO NOT USE OVER OILS OR LOTIONS.
