I was worried it would be just a little too heavy after receiving it and was pleasantly surprised to see how well my Aunt has responded to it. Doesn't engage with the gel really but the weighted cushion aspect has 100% positive effect.

After a couple of days (Xmas gift) she was already crossing and uncrossing her legs comfortable with the lap pad and there hasn't been any real hint of chair abandonment yet. The nurses who work with her a very impressed by this product as well!
