• Sizing:
  Small/Medium: waist sizes from 28 to 34 inches
  Medium/Large: waist sizes from 35 to 44 inches

Application and Use:
1. Select the proper size for your patient: SMALL-MEDIUM for patients with waist sizes from 28 to 34 inches, and MEDIUM-LARGE for patients with waist sizes from 35 to 44 inches.
2. With patient seated, place belt around his/her waist, buckle to patient’s front and the loops at his/her back and sides. Do not place the belt around the patient’s chest or below his/her hips.
3. Insert male end of buckle is into female end. IMPORTANT: The buckle ends are properly engaged when you hear a click. Do not attempt to lift or ambulate patient unless you are certain that the buckle is secure.
4. Adjust the belt to patient’s waist size. Do not overtighten.
5. Lift patient to a standing position by firmly grasping the two side loops. During amublation the belt must be grasped with both hands-one at the patient’s back and the other at either his/her left or right side.
6.When lowering patient to a sitting position, grasp both the left and right loops. Do not remove the Walker Belt until your patient is safely seated. Release the buckle by simultaneously pressing the tabs at the top and bottom of the buckle.
