It is definitely worth a try & the money! I have multiple recurring injuries and this tape works wonders! For too long, I used braces, ace bandages or standard athletic tape, but they all failed. Braces & bandages restrict movement & circulation, standard athletic tape immobilizes the area (fine for initial injury, but not re-injury/chronic issues as it hinders healing, preventing muscles from gaining strength). Kinesio tape flexes with your muscles if applied correctly, doesn't wrinkle or bunch. It also aids in circulation and reduces swelling, helping my knee and ankle get back in line if locked up. It is a MUST to learn correct application from a doctor, PT or online videos. I can see how incorrect application could do nothing but a false sense of security. Some initial trial & error is expected, but a good starting point is essential. For anyone willing to take the time to learn or professionals seeking additional ways to help patients, I would definitely recommend this product!
