have a different issue that caused me to get these inserts. I was in a motorcycle accident that left me with several permanent issues. One of which is a chunk of my calcaneus that broke off the back over the course of my limb salvage, fused to the bottom. I am not able to walk on a hard surface without searing pain and most shoes don't give me enough cushion after even a short time. My ortho doctor suggested heel cushions and these seemed to be well received by reviewers. They ARE 100% worth the price. I don't have any issues with these in my shoes, at least pain from my heel. These fit very well.
